Membership FAQ

FAQ's

Q: How does Membership on-boarding work?

A: After paying your security deposit - Our team will reach out by email or phone and send you a link to reoccurring membership payments. Once signed up you will received a door code. If you need faster access to the skatepark stop by during business hours and we will get your membership setup in person.

Q: Do key members have access to both spaces?

A: Yes. You will have access to all current and future Substance Skateparks.

Q: What are the requirements of a key member?

A: The only rules are you have to be 18+ years old. We will still offer a monthly unlimited membership for minors but they are only allowed to come skate when we are open to the public.

Q: Does that mean I can skate only when the park is closed or when it's open as well?

A: As a key member you are free to skate wether we are open or closed to the public. There are usually more crowds when we are open to the public or running clinics on weekdays when there is no school.

Q: Can I bring guests

A: Yes. Guest must be 18+ (There's a 15$ per guest fee) All guests must sign a waiver and check in for each session.

Q: Does the no drugs or alcohol policy still apply after hours.

A: Yes. We have a strict no drugs or alcohol policy at all times. Whatever you do that isn't on the property or our sidewalks are none of our business.

Q: Is there any limit to how many times a month I can visit?

A: Nope.

Q: Are there any times the park is off-limits for key members?

A: The only time we will be closed for key members is if we are renting the entire park out for a photoshoot or private party. Key members will be notified in advance.

Q: Can I ride a scooter, bike, or rollerblades at the skatepark?

A: Rollerbladers, Quad skaters, and Roller skaters are now welcome. At this time we don't have insurance for handle-barred vehicles like bikes or scooters.

Q: What is your cancelation policy?

A: You may cancel your membership with 30 days notice at any time. You can also pause your subscription up to two months a year.
